四款怪獸 4 Monsters

我第一次辦的團鉤活動用的就是這個圖樣。

這小兔全身都是長長的，我覺得挺可愛。

I find the figure of this little bunny quite lovely.

我挺喜歡龍貓這卡通片的。

My Neighbor Totoro is one of my favorite animation film.

鋼牙和大鼻 Chip & Dale

在一個論壇看到有人做了 12 個顏色不同的鋼牙和大鼻， 想起了我也收藏了這個圖樣，於是也做了一對。

Someone posted a picture of the Chips and Dales she have made.  She have made a total of 12 in different colour!  This stimulated me to make a pair myself.

美人魚瑪麗 Mary Mermaid

這是我第一個比較像人的玩偶，我覺得這個設計師挺有創意的，這玩偶相當簡單但好看。

This is my first human-like amigurumi project.  I found the designer  very innovative in making this doll simple and pretty.

烏龜小姐 Miss Turtle

除了烏龜小姐，圖樣還有烏龜先生，但只是殼的顏色不同和沒有帽子而已。

In additional to Miss Turtle, there is a Mr Turtle in the same crochet pattern, without hat and with a different shell colour.

渴睡的貓頭鷹 Sleepy Owl

這是我第一次參加團鉤的作業，感覺挺好的。

This sleepy owl is the outcome of my first crochet-along activity.  I feel very happy with it.

三眼仔 Little green alien

這是電影反斗奇兵裡的三眼仔。

This is the little green alien from the film Toy Story.

大頭老鼠 Big head mouse

這老鼠是去年12月開工的，那時學鉤玩偶還不到一個月，做這老鼠可謂一波三折，先是不明白鼻子是甚麼一回事，然後是買不到紅色的不織布，最要命的是當所有部件完成要縫合時，發覺頭部的開口是 17 針，但身體的開口只有 7 針，天啊！整個身體都掉到頭臚裡去了！因為經驗太淺，不識變通，只有束之高閣。最近立志要將所有未完成的作業逐一完成，這老鼠才得見天日。

I started to make this mouse in last December, when I had only less than 1 month of experience in amigurumi making.  During the course a number of obstacles arose.  Firstly, I did not understand the Japanese instruction on the nose.  Then I failed to buy red felt paper.  And lastly when it came to the time of final assembly, I found that the opening of the head was 17 stitches while that of the body was only 7 stitches.  OMG!  The whole body would fall into the head!  Because of little experience in amigurumi making, I did not know what to do at that time and so this mouse became my first WIP item.

又是小熊維尼 Winnie the Pooh Again

心裡總覺得外加的衣服比較好看，於是用幼一點兒的線再做了
一隻維尼熊，和一件大了幾個碼的 T-恤。

I always think that a separately crocheted T-shirt will look better, so I crocheted another Winnie the Pooh (with thinner yarn) and make him a large T-shirt.

維尼熊 Winnie the Pooh

 這維尼熊高約19cm，我覺得他的頭形比較好看，如果他的衣服是外加的就更好。

This Winnie the Pooh measures about 19cm.  I like the shape of his head very much.  If his shirt is separately crocheted then it would be even better.

蝴蝶BB Baby Butterfly

這小東西介乎蝴蝶和毛毛蟲之間，是還沒有長成的蝴蝶。

This little thing has not yet grown up.  It is somewhat between a worm and a butterfly.   

手指玩偶 - 獅子 Finger puppet - lion

這個手指玩偶最麻煩的地方是毛髮，要一根一根的縫上去。

The most troublesome part of this finger puppet is making of the hair, which has to be sewn one by one.

小鹿 Little deer

這是一個幾乎爛尾的作品，他站不起來令我很失望，但還後還是把他完成了，希望有小朋友接受他的缺陷。

This was one of the work in progress (WIP) items which I thought that would never be finished.  I feel quite desperate and want to give it up when I find out that he cannot stand on his own.  Now it was finally assembled and I hope that there are boys and girls who would not mind his disability and accept him.

比堅尼豬 Bikini pig

最近不知怎搞的，鉤織的時候遇到不少問題，連續有兩個玩偶要中途停工，所以特意挑一個容易點的來沖喜一下。

Just don't know why, quite a number of problems were encountered during crocheting recently.  As a result I have 2 more WIP's on my desk.  To make life easier, I deliberately choose an easy pattern.

大鼻獅子 Lion with big nose

這獅子我不太滿意，他的頭很重，但腿卻很幼，所以只能俯在地上，懶洋洋的就像在動物園見到的。

I am not very happy with this lion.  His head is too heavy, while his feet are too thin.  Consequently he can only lie on the floor, just like his friends we see in the zoos.

豆豆糖果熊 Jelly Bean Bear

這小熊挺容易鉤的，除了頭部外，其它的部位都是原身出的，再頑皮的小孩也不容易把他拆開。

To crochet this bear is quite easy.  Except the head, all other parts are crochet right in.  So it it not easy even for a naughty child to break it into parts.

迷你河馬 Mini hippo

我說過我喜歡嘴巴比較豐滿的河馬，因為在網上找不到合適的免費圖樣，所以就嘗試自己設計一個，試了很多次終於完成了一個比較像樣的。這圖樣因用了兩個不太常用的針法，所以花了不少篇幅去解釋做法。

Sometime ago I mentioned that I like hippos with a large jaw.  As I can't find a free pattern with such a feature on web, I tried to design one myself.  I had tried many times before I succeeded.  Since I have made use of 2 special stitches in this design, I have spent quite some effort in explanation.

黑提子星來的外星人 Alien from the planet BlackCurrant

為了令這外星人看起來特別一點，我特意在縫合前用牙刷將他的身體前後左右的邊刷邊拉，直至起毛。Tammy Snow 示範這技巧時用上了狗用的硬毛刷，加上容易起毛的毛線，所以效果十分明顯。

To make this alien looks more special, I used a toothbrush to brush his body to pick out the hair from the yarn.  Tammy Snow uses a dog slick brush when demonstrating this technique.  And with yarn which can give hair more readily, the effect is very obvious.
