天使瑪麗 Mary the Angel

你覺得這小天使面熟嗎？對，她就是美人魚瑪麗的化身。瑪麗是一個善良的美人魚 ，所以天神就答應了她的禱告，她現在有腿和翅膀，當然還有漂亮的裙子。

Do you find this little angel looking familiar?  Yes, she was Mary Mermaid.  She was a good mermaid.  In answer to her prayer she is now an angel with legs and wings, and of course her lovely dress.

"天體戰士"的小鳥 The bird in "Celestial Warriors Sun Red"

在一個日文網誌（就是前幾天「筆筒」的那個）發現了這小鳥，很是喜歡，所以就仿了一個。這小鳥的特點是頭可以轉動的！

I found this little bird in a Japanese blog (the same blog with the "Pen Holder" I mentioned a few days ago).  Since I like it very much, I tried to create one myself.  One special point about this bird is his head is free to turn！

迷你河馬 Mini hippo

我說過我喜歡嘴巴比較豐滿的河馬，因為在網上找不到合適的免費圖樣，所以就嘗試自己設計一個，試了很多次終於完成了一個比較像樣的。這圖樣因用了兩個不太常用的針法，所以花了不少篇幅去解釋做法。

Sometime ago I mentioned that I like hippos with a large jaw.  As I can't find a free pattern with such a feature on web, I tried to design one myself.  I had tried many times before I succeeded.  Since I have made use of 2 special stitches in this design, I have spent quite some effort in explanation.

單峰駱駝 1-humped camel

將雙峰駱駝的圖樣再改動一下就變成了單峰駱駝。

By further modifying the pattern of the 2-humped camel, a 1-lumpled camel is born.

前些時根據 KristieMN 發表的圖樣我編了一隻雙峰駱駝
，因為縫合駝峰的手藝不濟，我對弄出來的駱駝不太滿意，今次我將圖樣稍作改動，經過多翻嘗試，終於弄出了一隻不用縫合駝峰的駱駝，這小駱駝是否比他的哥哥好看？

Last month I have followed the free pattern of KristieMN and made a 2-humped camel.  Because of my sub-standard sewing technique, the humps do not look good.  After several trials, I have successfully modified the pattern and made a 2-humped camel with in-born humps.  That is, no sewing of the humps to the body is reqiured.

小胖貓波波 Little fat cat Ballball

他們是小胖貓 Gumball  的退化版，做法和Gumball 差不多，只是頭和身體合而為一變成一個球體罷了。

我以前最怕的工序是縫合，但自從了用大頭釘固定位置後，這工序容易多了。做了幾隻貓兒後，我發覺剌繡才是我的最大弱項，一個嘴巴幾條鬍子也費了個多小時（這包含了我因逃避而浪費了的時間）！

This is the degenerated version of the little fat cat Gumball.  The head and body are merged into one single ball.

Sewing different parts together is always my weak point.  This process now becomes easier after I learnt to use pins to fix different parts together before actual sewing.  After making a few cats (the tabby, Gumball and Ballball), I find that embroider is my now my biggest weak point.
